In-Course Projects

Students are sometimes required to undertake an in-course project as part of their degree. These projects, which may be independent or as part of a group, provide students with the opportunity to work on a consultancy project for a business.

Students prepare a report and presentation for the business at the end of the project.

How can my business benefit from a short-term project?
  • You have a task which needs completing but don't have the “in-house” expertise
  • You have a task/idea which is on the back burner due to time constraints
  • You want to do some initial research into a new market area or product but don’t want a major outlay
How much does it cost?

There is no fixed fee for an in-course project, however some courses make a charge to cover expenses and it is requested that you cover the costs of the students travel expenses.

Past projects include:
  • Market research
  • Filling a skill shortage
  • Supplying expertise
  • Researching new products
  • Reviewing existing systems
