Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP)
KTP is a Technology Strategy Board business support programme that employs a recent graduate to work in a company on a strategic project.
The aim of the scheme is to improve the company’s turnover, give the university the chance to apply academic research, and the graduate – known as the Associate - the opportunity to fast-track their career.
The project is supervised by a university academic and lasts between eighteen months and three years. Projects can be in almost any discipline, and all offer a training budget and support in applying for professional qualifications.
