In-Course Projects

Students are sometimes required to undertake an in-course project as part of their degree. These projects, which may be independent or as part of a group, provide students with the opportunity to work on a consultancy project for a business.

Past projects include:
  • Market research
  • Filling a skill shortage
  • Supplying expertise
  • Researching new products
  • Reviewing existing systems

Students prepare a report and presentation for the business which they can then use for their own academic requirements.

Speak to your tutor about whether an in-course project is offered as part of your degree.  It's also possible that any consultancy work could be used as part of your academic coursework requirements.
