Case Study
THE COMPANY DLT Media are Europe's largest specialist supplier of consumer magazines to businesses, distributing over 400,000 magazines every month to more than 20,000 business and reaching over 8 million people.

THE STUDENTS
A group of five students, all studying for an MA in Business Management at Kingston University.
THE PROJECT
The project lasted one month and the students were asked to substantiate and quantify the benefits of businesses using consumer magazines in their lobbies or waiting rooms. They were also asked to publish this research in a report which could be used by DLT Media's press team.
THE PROCESS
As part of the research, 1000 people and 500 businesses needed to answer a questionnaire. The team spent two weeks on the streets conducting surveys and calling on existing and potential businesses. The results of the questionnaires were collated and presented in the final report.
THE OUTCOME
The students produced a report which incorporated statistical analysis and data. DLT Media used the report to create press releases and also in their sales strategies to new customers and potential clients.

He was pleased with their ability to to work on their own initiative and deliver the report on schedule. Jason was impressed that the students also provided him with a number of their own recommendations, which he intends to use in future business and marketing plans.
