Project: Designated Event Manager alongside Carla Emmanuel, Kofi's role was also to research, organise and host family events over the summer holidays. Their hard work means more families now have access to a service which was previously unheard of.

Kyle Webster
University: Southampton Solent University Company: The Databac Group Project: Databac, who specialise in the manufacture of ID cards, took on Kyle to help the marketing department. Kyle and two other Shell Step students addressed a number of business needs ranging from implementing inspirational marketing strategies to developing a business plan.
“Because this is in the real world you can put your proposals into effect and get outcomes that are real and measured. This makes the scheme so much better than a university project.”

University: Nottingham Trent University Company: The Databac Group Project: Based alongside Kyle Webster in marketing, Raihlar identified the same number of business needs ranging from implementing inspirational marketing strategies to developing a business plan for the ID card manufacturing company.

University: University of Portsmouth Company: The Databac group Project: Kaha was based in the finance department at Databac and had the role of teaching staff how to use new finance software packages.
“I was pleasantly surprised when chosen for the Shell step placement. Practising what I’d learnt and applying it into real business was facinating and inspring. I became more confident and self motivated”
