Mark Wallman
University: Southampton Solent University Company: Cash-Score, a sales consultancy specialising in UK “through the wall” cash machines. Project: Cash-Score's target customer group are small independent shops which have a high number of people walking past them-creating a demand for cash withdrawals.
Mark gained experience in contract management, website development and managing and distributing new sales leads. Due to a keen interest in sales he asked to participate in a sales role too. By securing 20 leases, it is estimated that Mark will generate Cash-Score approximately £240,000 profit over the next 10 years.
“The scheme has been extremely valuable in helping me develop myself as an individual and refine my future career choices. It allowed me to focus on what I enjoy the most (business to business sales). I am pleased that Cash-Score have benefited from my project and I’m looking forward to working with them in my new role as the Regional Sales Executive for the South of England.”

Jennifer Griffiths
University: University of Bristol Company: Waterwell Ltd. Project: Computer Science student, Jennifer Griffiths, gained a placement with the garden lighting and irrigation company. Her role was to create an estimation program which would give more time to the staff, saving the business money. Loved by everyone on the team, Jennifer was invited back to work there over her Christmas break, to complete an online booking project which she’d initiated.
“This experience has been brilliant and extremely worthwhile. It has developed my programming skills, learning three new languages, as well as developing my life skills and confidence.”
